ARTIST BIO
My name is Sydneigh Anne Sharpley, (18), I am a Durban based young artist in South Africa and I’ve been running a part-time business, (SAS) due to my academic work. My spare time is devoted to working at home taking orders, customizing denim jeans, statement custom denim jackets as well as converse and vans, I enjoy adding a unique perspective to my work in order to make each piece memorable at affordable prices. Work by SAS custom denim is currently only displayed on the Instagram page, (@s.theletter). I began everything on my own, from scratch without funding from any other parties, I believe more than anything that everyone wants to express their uniqueness, and statement, custom clothing does just that. Hand-painting and creating custom items is therapeutic for me and I love the look of happiness, contentment and fine art on my local customers. This is the past, present and future...
I paint my own reality. The only thing I know is that I paint because I need to, and I paint whatever passes through my head without other consideration.
